MerCruiser 888 serial number: 3108723 and up with Prestolite distributor.
MerCruiser 233 serial number: 4173000 and up with Prestolite ignitions with clip down cap.
This kit will also work on OMC motors and replaces OMC kit numbers 173690 and 987925.
