Can be used with the 3/8"-16 gear case drain/fill screw found on:
All Mercury MerCruiser Sterndrives.
Most Mercury/Mariner outboards except those of Japanese origin.
This is the new 'yellow' plastic seal.
It now comes as standard with all current Mercury / Mariner outboards and MerCruiser Sterndrives that use a standard 3/8" drain plug.
This new seal design is less susceptible to leakage due to cracking and is backwards compatible for use with any 3/8" drain screw.
